Volunteering in Uganda as a youth

Are you a youth and passionate about volunteering beyond your country of origin, think about Uganda the Pearl of Africa. It is one destination that you have to consider because it has thousands of organizations that run volunteer projects / programs in different aspects of life.Volunteering in Uganda as a youth.

As a youth, volunteering is not just a place to run to but a family to belong to. Volunteering in Uganda as a youth is a platform for you to showcase your potential skills and exercise your power as an individual.

Imagine seeing that classroom block, library, main hall, name it standing because you joined the team that carried cement and bricks during its construction!

A lot is written about Africa’s tremendous development and growth particularly Uganda in terms of economy, culture, and other aspects of life. However, it is not all about saying and writing, it is about getting to the ground and get things done. It is high time the youths gotten the will to make their hands dirty and be part of the solution rather than sitting back and wait for people from a different planet to do so.

Volunteering in Uganda as a youth.

His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni – the President of the Republic of Uganda has always embarked on spreading the message of youth’s engagement in community development programs. This has been effected in some parts of the country but the target is not yet met.

This can be a great opportunity for you as a youth to come in as a volunteer. You are the only one remaining to complete the puzzle. Complain about lack of jobs and lack of enough capital to start your business after school is not enough.

Come to Uganda, join a volunteer project / program. Get things done by yourself, build that school, renovate that road, and construct that hospital, to mention but a few and you will be a hero.

Being a hero does not necessitate being on the war but it means contributing the little time, skill, knowledge and effort you can and the best time to do so is now. Volunteering in Uganda as a youth.

Volunteering in Uganda as a youth helps you associate with fellow youth from different parts of the world who have different life experiences and trust me, they must be of a great impact on your life even after your volunteer time is over.

We have seen testimonies of people who met during volunteer programs when they were just youth like you.

Volunteering in Uganda as a youth can also aid your research project since you get to interact with different cultures. It is an opportunity for you to learn new things and add on your scope of knowledge, skills and competences.

Choose you now! Are you going to stay in your comfort zone or you are going to volunteer in Uganda while you are still young.

Volunteer in Uganda as a youth with Milele Foundation Uganda and you will explore the wonders of the world.
